First time seeing Nightwish. I'd been looking forward to this concert since the tour was announced months ago. Paid the extra $$ for the VIP access. Got my 30-seconds with the band (pictures & autographs before the show). Then got early access to the venue and staked out my spot right at the front and center of the stage (just one person in between me and the security rail). Not the best spot for audio - the vocals were "going past me", but not too badly. But it was an outstanding spot for pictures, a couple of videos, and overall visual enjoyment.

The show was outstanding. Well worth the extra money for the VIP experience as well as the 500 mile round-trip to Chicago. No regrets here.

Recording came out as good as I had hoped. As mentioned above, vocals are a little weak, but not as badly as during the Kamelot show. Overall I'm happy with it and have been listening to it steadily since processing it last night. Samples are included in the comments below.
